SolarPACES Conference 2025
The 31st SolarPACES Conference will take place on 23-26 September, 2025, in Almeria, Spain. SOLARX will host its final workshop during the event on 25 September 2025 from 14:00-16:00 (CET). Project partners will present and discuss results, the relevance of the project and its importance in the development and implementation of commercial solutions. The event is organised by UdL and will leverage the attendance of the conference by specialists in the sector and gather all relevant industrial stakeholders. Conference rooms at the location will be equipped with approximately 50 chairs, a screen, and surround sound for teleconferences, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees.
In 2024, the SolarPACES conference has already once before served as a venue for the revelation of new achievements within SOLARX, like the hybridization of concentrating photovoltaic cells with thermal receivers in a multi-tower solar field or the design of a high heat flux solar reactor receiver used for low-carbon hydrogen production. Now, as the project is concluding at the end of October 2025, the consortium will publicise the final results of each Work Package (WP) which, together, aimed at demonstrating, at the laboratory scale, the technical and economic reliability as well as the social value of the synergetic efficient production of heat, electricity and H2 from solar resource in a single facility considering real-time energy demands and market prices for a wide range of locations and application scenarios.
